CUSTOM WOODEN BOATS
Do not despair. We can help. We have the skills and expertise in building custom wooden boats and can craft the boat design you’ve been searching for. If you have a design in mind, please do not hesitate to call and discuss your ideas with us.
We have built two Moth sailboats by merging together a couple of different classic designs to accommodate the owner’s vision. Check out Lil’ Suzy and Lil’ Suzy II as examples of custom wooden boats we’ve recently built. Another customer was looking for a dory that he could use to camp and sail around Penobscot Bay. What began as a simple idea for a custom wooden boat eventually became the Navicula Mia.
In addition, a local architect approached us with a sailboat design he had been refining for years, which became the NonPareil sloop.
Currently, we’re working on a very special custom wooden boat of historic origins that we’ll soon share more about. As a custom wooden boat builder, we can handle your build and help you to achieve your vision. We invite you to come to us with your ideas and see what we can come up with.

OUR BOATS

"It's not just a boat but a work of art, and as much as I love rowing it, I also love seeing it rocking in the water when I look out our window... we continue to enjoy it enormously."

"It’s a delightful boat to row. Having a special boat makes it special. I’ve had people run down to their dock and say; that’s a beautiful boat! I’ll never be an artist but I’m rowing a piece of art."
